Rouba Shahin is the Lebanese-Australian food creator and recipe developer behind Rouba's Food Journey, sharing traditional and modern takes on Lebanese and Middle Eastern home cooking across social media and her website. Based in Adelaide, her recipes are rooted in family memory, drawing on dishes passed down from her mother and grandmother, and reimagined for everyday cooks using simple, accessible ingredients.

 

A self-taught home cook turned content creator, Rouba has built a loyal following through sharing her culture, traditions and family, with a warm, story-led approach to food where every recipe carries a piece of her heritage. A mum of two boys with a large extended family, she brings that same spirit of togetherness to her audience, and is passionate about sharing authentic Middle Eastern hospitality with home cooks everywhere.

 

Since launching Rouba's Food Journey, Rouba has grown a highly engaged community across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Threads, and continues to expand her offering beyond the page. Alongside her recipe content, she runs Middle Eastern cooking classes and event catering, specialising in grazing tables, and has released her own recipe eBooks for home cooks wanting to bring her dishes into their own kitchens.
